Thank you for using the services of „ArchBalticDesign" web portal.

We kindly ask the users who are going to use the services of „ArchBalticDesign" web portal to read the rules carefully. The users who do not agree to comply with the rules of web portal shall not be allowed to use the web portal.

The web portal shall be constantly updated and supplemented, therefore this document will be updated and supplemented respectively and the rules, and terms, and conditions stipulated herein may also be subject to change. If the user uses the web portal, it means that they are familiarized and agree with the new rules or terms and conditions, otherwise the user shall not be allowed to use „ArchBalticDesign" web portal.

Privacy policy

Herein the rules of our web portal are provided. If you use our web portal, it shall be deemed that you have familiarized and agree with (Art. 2(11) of the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania: Consent – any freely given specific and informed indication of the wishes of the data subject by which they signify their agreement to the processing of their personal data for the purposes known to them) the privacy policy of our web portal.

The privacy policy of this web portal shall be applicable to all natural and legal persons visiting ArchBalticDesign.com web portal. It is also applicable to their actions, including their registration to the web portal, use of the search system, reading of the published information, viewing of photographs or submission or receipt of information and/or data of any nature.

By using the services the person unconditionally and without any limitations agrees with the privacy policy of the web portal which stipulated the purposes and methods of collecting, editing and correcting the personal information. If a person does not agree with the privacy policy of our web portal, it shall be considered that such a person is not entitled to use any services of the web portal.

The personal data provided by the persons shall be collected and administered by the owner of the web portal. By the decision of the owner of the web portal, the personal data of the persons shall not be disclosed to any third parties without a separate consent of a natural person or a company, except in the cases stipulated by laws.

Every person shall have the right to visit the website without providing any information about themselves, but if a person wants to use the services of „ArchBalticDesign" web portal for advertising purposes, the system of the website will ask them to provide the details of a legal or natural person.

The owner of the web portal does not assume any responsibility for the websites of the third persons, correctness of the information provided therein or the quality of goods and services the links to which are provided on the website of the owner of the web portal.

The content of the website, logo, name of the company as well as the design of the web portal, software, etc. are the intellectual property of the owner of the web portal. It is strictly forbidden to copy, print or otherwise reproduce or distribute the text and graphic information contained in the website which is protected by the Law on Copyright and Related Rights of the Republic of Lithuania without a written consent of the owner of the website. It is also forbidden to make hyperlinks to the website of the owner on other websites without a prior written consent of the owner of the website. Such information may be used without a consent only for personal purposes specified by the Law on Copyright and Related Rights of the Republic of Lithuania.

Registration of persons

In order to effectively use the services provided by the web portal for the advertising purposes a person must provide required data. Persons providing their contact information on the web portal agree and wish that other persons visiting the web portal and/or the owner of the web portal could find it.

The personal data provided on the web portal shall be manually and automatically processed by the owner of the web portal.
In addition to the collection of data on the web portal, the person may be asked to provide their personal data while communicating with the owner of the web portal or the team members by mail or phone.
The registered person must supplement and/or change their contact data provided on the web portal, if such data has changed.

Every time a person logs in to the web portal, certain not personal information (type of a browser used, number of visits, opened pages, average times spent on the web portal) is collected automatically. Such information is used to improve the content, functionality and attractiveness of the web portal.

Advertising on the web portal

The users may place their advertisements on „ArchBalticDesign" web portal only after obtaining the consent of the owner of the web portal.

Free advertising: A person has the right to advertise on our web portal and use our other services free of charge for a period agreed upon with the owner of the web portal. All communications with the owner of the web portal shall be conducted by e-mail. Should the rules change or the owner of the web portal decide to charge for advertising, the person shall be notified there of by e-mail within three business days. The person then shall have the right to cancel their registration or make a payment within seven business days. A request to cancel the registration may be e-mailed to: info@archbalticdesign.com.

Paid advertising: A person has the right to advertise on our web portal and use other services for a certain fee for a period for which it has been paid. The advertising shall be published on „ArchBalticDesign" web portal within three business days after paying an invoice and the period shall begin from the day and hour of placing the advertising. The person is notified of the placement of the advertising by an email sent by the owner of „ArchBalticDesign" web portal. Should the rules of the web portal change, the person shall also be notified thereof by an email from the owner of „ArchBalticDesign" web portal.

Purposes for using the personal data

Below are the examples of the purposes for which the owner of the web portal may use the personal data of a specific person in order to improve the quality of the provided services:

uses general data for the statistical analysis of general characteristics and conduct of the registered persons. Without such data, the owner of the web portal could not properly amend and edit the content of the web portal and the offered services with the aim to offer specialized services and targeted advertising;
the owner of the web portal may send e-mails or letters by mail which, in his opinion, may be of interest to the person;

the owner of the web portal shall retain the right to correct the provided data and material, i.e. photographs may be cut, selected or reordered and the text may be edited, translated into other languages but without losing the main idea. He also may post and advertise in such social networks as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.

Consumer rights and responsibilities

When using the web portal, it is forbidden to publish information which is misleading or discredits or insults other persons or entities or any other information which is against the laws of the Republic of Lithuania or any information which could cause direct or indirect damage to the owner of the website or other persons or entities.

The persons who provide false (damaging) information shall assume full responsibility for any possible consequences arising as a result of providing such information and shall be held directly liable in accordance with the procedure established by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

While using the web portal, it is forbidden to email or otherwise deliver or send any content and/or links to any content whose publication and/or use is forbidden or restricted by laws.

The owner of the web portal reminds that the persons themselves are responsible for the confidentiality of their login data. The owner of the web portal asks the persons to be careful when using and safekeeping their login and personal data. There are many uses of such information and it can even be used against the interests of the person.

Cancellation of registration

The persons who have registered on „ArchBalticDesign" web portal may at any time delete their personal data and information about themselves, their projects, products or services from the „ArchBalticDesign" database, by cancelling their registration.
A request to cancel the registration may be e-mailed to: info@archbalticdesign.com. The request must clearly state the full name, username and other registration data required during registration.

Duration of the storage of personal data

The owner of the web portal shall store the personal data of the registered persons for at least 5 years.

The owner of the web portal shall have the right to, at any time and for whatever reason, cancel the person's registration and delete any information placed by the person from the web portal database. The owner of the web portal shall be entitled to apply to respective authorities with a request to hold the person liable for any material (including lost profit) or non-material damage made by their unauthorized actions to the owner of the website, his partners, clients or other persons or entities.

Portal owner rights

The owner of the web portal shall not assume any responsibility for the correctness of the photographs or advertising of the products or services of other natural/legal persons placed on the web portal, the quality of such products or services as well as for the consequences arising as a result of using or not using their advertising. Any disputes regarding any incorrect information about projects, products or services shall be settled by way of negotiations with the affected party and if an agreement cannot be reached, then the dispute shall be settle in the court of the Republic of Lithuania and the party at fault shall be held directly liable in accordance with the procedure established by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

Under no circumstances, shall the owner of the web portal be held liable for any consequences caused by force majeure circumstances that could not be controlled or predicted. In addition, the owner of the website shall never be held liable for any losses or damage that could not be predicted in advance.

The owner of the web portal shall not be responsible for ensuring the privacy of the person on the third persons' web portal, even when the persons are directed to such third persons' website from the web portal.

All and any provisions of the privacy policy laid down herein may be unilaterally amended or supplemented by the owner of the web portal. Any such amendments shall come into effect from their publication on the web portal. If the person continues to use the web portal and/or services after the amended privacy policy has been published, it shall be deemed that that they agree with all and any changes made.

Persons who do not agree with the amended privacy policy shall lose the right to use the web portal and its services and must immediately cancel their registration.

In order to protect the personal data, the owner of the web portal shall use various administrative, technical and physical security means. Only authorized employees of „ArchBalticDesign" shall be given access to the login data of the person.

Law governing the privacy policy. All and any disputes regarding the provisions of the privacy policy shall be settled by way of negotiations, but if the parties fail to reach an agreement, the disputes shall be settled in the court of the Republic of Lithuania according to the address of the registered office of the owner of the web portal.
